My Brother's Great Jump

My vivid memory of a family member would be of my little brother. We were living in Fresno at the time in a two story apartment. My brother was eight years old. He was very playful and had lots of friends. He would always go out and play with his friends until the end of every evening. One day he was not allowed to go outside. The reason why was because my father wasn't home and my older sister who was in charge did not allow my brother to go outside. He was sent to his room and was told to do his homework. My brother was was still determined to go play with his friends. So he worked up the courage to jump out of the apartment window which was two stories high. He had a great fall and broke his ankle. My sister panicked and called 911. We all hurried and also called our father. When my father got to the hospital, he was furious and at the same time, worried about his son. My brother got out of the hospital that same night. When we all got home my father was so disappointed with my brother. But he was just glad that my brother was ok except for the fact that he had a broken ankle. Till this day we still laugh and joke about the story of my brother's great jump.
